Data processed. When you visit the website, the hosting provider Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland) stores technical server logs, for example IP address, browser type and time. They are used to deliver the website and keep it secure, and are also analysed to count visits by crawlers. For audience measurement, the pages visited and how they are used are also recorded, without cookies and without storing your IP address (details below).

No forms, no cookies. This website has no contact form, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from its own server, the statistics script from stats.ancora.marketing, also hosted at Infomaniak in Switzerland.

Audience measurement. To understand which content is read, I count page views with a statistics tool I developed myself, running on stats.ancora.marketing, which I operate under my brand Ancora Marketing. It runs at Infomaniak in Switzerland; no data is passed on to third parties. Recorded are: the page visited and whether it was found, the time, the website you came from (domain name only), any campaign parameters in the link (utm parameters), device type, browser, operating system, browser language and the country the visit comes from. The country is determined from the IP address using a table on the same server, without any third-party service; only the country code is stored. I also measure how long a page is open and visible, how far you scroll, how quickly it loads and responds (technical measurements from the browser) and whether you click a link to email, phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, a download or another website. Only the type of link and its destination are recorded (for websites only the domain name, for phone links no number).

In addition, I analyse the web server’s access logs to count visits by search engine and AI crawlers. Only counts per day and per crawler are stored, no IP addresses.

Your IP address and the full browser identifier are not stored. They are only used briefly, together with a random key that changes daily, to form a daily identifier so that different visitors on one day can be counted. The key is deleted every day; after that, the data can no longer be linked to you. No recognition across several days takes place. If your browser sends the “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted, and no reading time, loading time or clicks are recorded either. The data is deleted after 400 days at the latest. The basis for this is my legitimate interest in improving this website.
